Quick postIt seems as though there is a plant growing beside our house that does not want us to use our porch swing.... It makes me laugh every time I see it!
Are you sure it isn't a weed? I think if I had a porch swing like that and some free time I'd show that vine where to go. Grab that good husband of yours and enjoy the swing.
We can take care of it next weekend. I bet my boys would love that: digging, destroying, getting dirty, and being allowed too. They could be there for hours!!
Sue, the labor is cheap (food, clothing, housing, and a college education--wait a minute, cheap??). They do get distacted, so the work can sometimes be left 1/2 done, but what is not done is made up with hugs and kisses--so worth it!
Well, I'm going to try to make a comment once again - and see if I can get it to work. As far as the cheap labor of boys goes... you also need to consider that you may have no plants left at the end of the job (or they may pull the plants and leave the weeds) :)

I have no idea what it is, but it is determined!

Do you think I could borrow the kids for a weekend? I have some weeds that need killin'.
