Christmas Tree

Decorating the Christmas Tree.
Grace and Glen did a great job hanging the decorations that were ok for them to handle.
Glen especially loved putting on the decorations.
Working together you get a beautiful tree!
Some Sunday morning pictures with a lit Christmas tree.

Thanksgiving 2013

Happy Thanksgiving to all!  This was the first of the holiday season that Grace was in school.  And since she was in school we kicked off our holiday with a Thanksgiving program where Grace sang (she is the one on the far right).  At school Grace and her classmates also made a Thanksgiving feast for all of the parents who came for the program.  There was fruit salad, turkey roll ups, muffins, and crackers with cheese.  It was a good time.

Then we had Thanksgiving at Mamaw and Papaw's house.  Glen loved sitting with Eamon and  having Eamon let him play on the iPhone.
Others spent Thanksgiving (prior to the meal) playing Dutch Blitz!
I was in charge of pies this year.  It was sweet potato, French silk, and vinegar pies...YUMMY!
After dinner entertainment included letting Glen watch videos on my phone.  See how happy he gets when I let him watch Twinkle Twinkle Little Star?
What a cute little boy.

The weekend after Thanksgiving we had cookie day.
This is where Mom, Carol, Amy and I get together with our families and bake cookies most of a day.  Then we can leave with enough cookies and sweets to last us the holiday season (most of the time).
Glen helped this year.  He loved to help cut out the orange cookies and help wash the dishes.  He actually did really help.

With this being a post about Thanksgiving I must end with this.
I am so thankful for these two little ones, and the love that they have for each other....
(most of the time)

Early Morning Fun

Before the day begins...
As I am getting breakfast ready for the kids...
You never know what they might get into.
For instance, Glen might build with his blocks.
 And try to make towers.
And Grace might find some noodles that we dyed (that were drying)
and try to match each noodle color to a color of a toy she already had.

They are some creative kids.
