Day 5

At Matt's Gram's apartment, she had a lot of decorations hanging on her walls.  Glen loved to point them out to anyone who would listen.  He especially loved this chicken timer.  He is one boy who will notice, and talk (grunt) about anything!
Today we went to Legoland.  I think that Matt and Chris had just as much fun (if not more) than the girls.  But as you can see in the picture below, the girls were pretty excited too.
Yes, those are actual Legos that Grace is walking through, and yes, you can build with them.
In fact, that is where Glen spent most of his time.  He also liked the giraffes that were made out of Legos.

Here Grace is building with the big, big Legos.  There was a slide that went into this Lego pit, which she was too afraid to do, but it was a neat idea still.
Right outside of Legoland there was an aquarium.  Glen liked looking at the fish tank.
Back at Legoland, the girls discovered more different types of Legos.
While the fathers built Lego cars and raced them down the race track.
On your mark, get set, GO!!!
I do not know who won.  I do know that many times the cars came apart at the end.

Back to Glen's favorite part of Legoland...the BIG blocks.
 There were lots of them!

There was also an earthquake plate.
You build a structure on the plate, then turn a dial which would make the plate shake.  Finally you can watch to see your structure crumble if it is not sturdy, or remain straight and tall.
It did not take the girls long to find the pink princess karaoke room.  They loved singing and dancing up on the stage.  They even got a few of the adults to come up and dance with them.
There was so much more to this Legoland place.  I would highly recommend going if you ever have a chance.
