Why should rain hinder play? It does not at mamaw's house.
You just need a bucket bath before you come into the house.
But my, it is fun while you can be covered in mud!

Maybe I should explain. We have a dirt play area. Papaw even roto-tils it up regularly so the dirt isn't so hard. I let the kids play in it, but before they come in the house they get a 'bucket bath'. It is warm water and its mainly their arms and legs get a washing down. They love to play in the dirt. Mamaw
